Ford Foundation collection, 1936-1969.

Except for a typewritten summary of the estate of Henry Ford and a few magazine articles, the collection is comprised of printed material including annual reports for the Ford Foundation from 1951 to 1969. Other publications include a series of booklets reporting on activities supported by the foundation in the United States, state by state, ca. 1963; booklets reporting on activities in countries around the world; and a series documenting grants given to states, ca. 1957. Also included is a 1949 report entitled Report of the Study for the Ford Foundation on Policy and Program, a 1952 publication entitled Report of the Trustees of the Ford Foundation; a 1954 report by Henry Ford II and H. Rowan Gaither, Jr. entitled Investment in Human Progress: a report on the Ford Foundation to the employees and management of Ford Motor Company; and a 1962 report entitled Ford Foundation in the 1960s.
